The Study on Water Balance in Mlech Reservoir Under Climate Change Effects, Kampot Province

چکیده
The Mlech Water Treatment Plant (WTP) has produced 2,000 m3/day of drinking water using raw from Mlech, Kampot province. Since demand would be increased in the future, so that extension treatment capacity will main challenges correspondence with development planning PPWSA. balance estimation is also critical point order to make a good decision on WTP at existing area. Therefore, objectives this study aimed analyse reservoir by data 2002 2011, 2030s and 2050s. Rational Method was applied for estimating streamflow into reservoir. computed following hydrological concept. SWAT HEC-HMS models were performed predict future streamflow. climatic projected 2012 2050 under climate change scenario RCP 4.5 three general circulation (GCMs) including IPSL-CM5A-MR, GISS-E2-R-CC GFDL-CM3. As result, remains about 11.40 Mm3/year baseline. In 2030s, quantity approximately 58.70 Mm3/year, 62.09 59.58 model GFDL-CM3, respectively. addition, slightly changed 2050s comparing 2030s. According capacity, found flow downstream decreased 37.14 33.84 when WTP’s 14,000 m3/day,respectively. Furthermore, volume overflow irrigation uses 30.32 12,000 Irrigation need 28.00 Mm3/year. recommendation, total should extended 10,000m3/day based demand.

population growth can greatly impact on greenhouse gas emission pattern in the future. considering the importance of population growth in climate change studies, the present research concentrates on the population growth of the middle east in the late 21th century based on the iiasa population scenarios. under the projections of a1-b1 scenario, the world’s population will grow up to 8.7 billion...
متن کاملAnalyzing the effects of climate change on dust events, a case study: Khorasan Razavi province
Introduction: Climatic components are the vital factors influencing the dust event. It was believed that changes in climate parameters play a crucial role in the occurrence of dust events. Former studies have shown that temperature, rainfall, and wind speed contribute to poor vegetation, providing requirements of dust events. Long-term dust data indicated that climate has a profound effect on d...
